On being visibly a beginner

In a pole class you cannot fake it. Either you are holding on or you are on the mat, in front of everyone, and the only way through is to be openly bad at something in a room full of people.

That got easier to accept at work too. Saying I do not know yet, in writing, to a client who is paying me, is the same muscle. It also happens to be the fastest way to a correct answer.

The people I trust most in this industry are the ones who say it plainly. I want to be in that group more than I want to look certain.
